They look good. Vibram sole should hold up up better than the older soles.

Re: New shoes?

It always seems to come down to Inov8 195's or Nano 2.0's.
195's are 40.00 cheaper, but will need to be replaced sooner.
Nano's run a wide toe box, Inov8 runs narrow.
Inov are light and slipper like, Nano's are heavier and sturdy.

Inov never made 'Tone ups'.. so I went with them ..

MX20 v3 for $100..... C'mon guys. This should be a minimalist shoes with minimal material use. How come it is getting more and more expensive?
My v1 was $80 when it was new on the market.

Re: New shoes?

It's a matter of demand and trading off sales volume vs. unit margin...as minimalist shoes get more popular and customers are willing to pay for them, NB can move the same (or even higher) volume at a higher margin.

Retail prices will fall soon enough, and I'll bet you can find them on one of the NB discount sites for $75-80 soon.

Re: New shoes?

CF - Nano 2.0

Weightlifting - Nike Romaleos

I've tried all sorts....
I have some inov-8's. Love running in them, but for CF nano's are tops for me.

Re: New shoes?

No love for the Chucks? CrossFitting for almost 4 years and have worn nothing but my Chuck Taylor high tops. Nice and old school. I run in them, lift in them, WOD in them, and wear them in my daily life. The only thing I don't wear them for is rope climbing. I have wrestling shoes for that, I cannot climb well in anything else and they don't break down.

I use my Chucks (low-top) just about any time that I know I won't be running much. I love Chucks for general athletic movement, but I despise running in them.

If I know I will be running much at all, I turn to my favorite CF shoe; the Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81.
