Deadlift program

Anyone have a good 12-15 week deadlift program? Looking for probably twice a week and would like to utilize resistance bands.

Thanks

10 weeks. I have not done this program, thought about it, but you really need to put just about everything else on hold.

Very intense - think smolov for deads.

Thanks Dana. I was looking at that too. I thought about lightening the load on the and using bands on the speed work.

Re: Deadlift program

This is a good one for Chris Mason! Hes got a thread under the "fitness" section about strength training questions.

Re: Deadlift program

465 is pretty respectable. What are you hoping to get it to and at what rate? Probably 25lbs per 3 months?

Pretty much. I have no grandiose expectations. I would honestly be ecstatic with 500lbs by the end of the year.

I tried for about 6 weeks - definitely helped, loved the speed DL. Couldn't finish due to time (with all the supplemental exercises you'd be best allowing for 90 minutes) and life stuff.

Make sure you have an off day (or two) after this workout and eat/sleep.
