I fully agree that it's a natural reaction. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find that many/most people in that position would want to cry.

Nonetheless, I just still think that it is a natural reaction that you have to have the strength and focus to suppress right there on the spot and save for later. Yes, this is easier said than done. Totally recognize that.

Castro definitely made the right call.

Final event... athletes are completely exhausted... I highly believe ALOT of people would have acted exactly the same way.

I don't care if she had a shot at the top three... she did have a shot at top 5 and even so most of these athletes just want to give it their all and rank as highly as possible.

I've seen guys cry after a disappointing loss in a football playoff (highschool team mate) which is nowhere close the level of the Games. I'll not fault anyone showing emotions at something they've built and trained so much toward.
