Corey Franklins training to be more gooder

Yes Gooder is a word as its in between good and better.


Greeting all,
I have been tracking my results in so many places that today is the day to move to the main site.
I completed my first WOD on the Brand X site on June 24th and joined the Local Grand Rapids CrossFit Affiliate a month or so later.

Alittle back ground history:
I am 34 and a reforming over weight guy, when I hit 30 I decided enough is enough and since that time have gone from about 290 pounds down to 194.

I train leadership and sales people for a communications company thats foot print spans across the country so I have a chance to drop into affilaites around the states and so far have hit two with the intentions of visiting a few more this year.

Last nights WOD
5 rounds for time:
- 10 barbell front squats: 65#
- 400 meter run

also spent 45 mintues after WOD working on Kipping and then OLY lifting
I am feeling much more comfortable with the bar and proper form

worked on muscle ups for awhile after the WOD getting much closer after working on kipping this last month.

This was my first time doing Fran and I struggled with the pull ups after 18. so they eventually turned into jumping pull-ups mid way through the 15 set

John and Crew are great and a really nice box.
