2009 NYC Marathon for UNICEF - Donations welcome!

So, this isn't one of those "training for a marathon using only CF" threads, although what little training time I can afford these days is in fact being devoted to random bouts of lifting, intervals, and runs shorter than 1 hour.

But back to the main subject of this post.
I've registered to run the 2009 NYC Marathon, on Nov. 1st. It will be my first marathon, and I don't know when I'll want to run another, so I decided to make this one a bit special.

I have registered as part of Team UNICEF and as such I have committed to raising $3,500 for the US Fund for UNICEF and its "Believe in Zero" campaign, aimed at eliminating all preventable child deaths around the world.

So if you're interested in making a donation, please visit my fund-raising web page and help spread the word. Every little bit helps!
