I am going to look at a couple used bars that came out of a H.S. weight room. The guy says he doesn't know what kind they are, but says the plates are Ivanko, so he assumes the bars might be too. I think I recall Ivanko bars having their name on the end. Question: what should I look for? How do I know if the bar is a power bar or olympic bar? Should I avoid a power bar for general CF workouts? If the bar does not have a manufacturer's name, is there a way I can tell if it is a quality bar or el cheapo? Any guidance is appreciate.
