Kipped into power rack...

hah, so today i decided to work on my kipping pullup. There aren't an real pullup bars at the golds that i go to, but there is one attached to a squat rack.
What i didn't notice at the time was that the bottom of the rack that the bar is attached to actually sits about 4" underneath where the grips are. Needless to say, i caught my forhead on it on my 8th rep on the way down.

Split it open pretty bad. Wound up putting a few butterflies on it, finished my deadlifts then went to the er and got stitched up.

Please tell me i'm not the only one to get stitches from kipping
