How to delete account / change username?

Hello,

I'd like to change my user name to match my full name but from what I can tell there's no way of modifying the user name. Do I need to delete my account and re-register? If so, how do I delete my account? Or can a moderator change my user name for me?

Hi Peter: An "Administrator" (not a "moderator", subtle but critical difference in power) goes through this section about once a week and cleans up the various requests.

In this case, please send a PM (private message) to Lynne Pitts and Ron Wilhelm specifying your request (what you want your user name to be (assuming it *is* your true identity, yes?). They should be able to accommodate you.
