Don't know about resourceful but i know what works on the internet to drive a business and bring the members in.. did this for years for our karate club, went from 35 active to 120 active people within 2 years, kids section has remained the largest section for 7-8 years now.

I call it the windows for dummies version, keep it short and sweet. make it easy for people to find what they need and the editorial should be as if you are talking to them, almost reading their thoughts as to the next question they have. Oh and really good tags, as if someone was searching for crossfit in Blackwater, what would that person search and how.

I was using my Ipad at the time, damn thing would not give the 2014 result.. i'm sure you know it

Last year I did not squat or do anything that hurt me before the games as I was so afraid of being injured and not being able to compete, this year I'm training ful on for it, not saying I'm being stupid I just know if I am going to be in with a shot I have to train VERY hard. 3 hours yesterday, so lucky I don't have a 9-5 job anymore as this amount of training would of been impossible last year.
Full time CF is not easy either... i think this is the only way to get to the top, you can't have a full time job and hope to reach the top, it's not possible.

This also gives you time to recuperate and focus on nutrition which is a major part of story.

I don't suppose you will be doing anything stupid... we learn not to be stupid with age... well some of us do . But the risk of injury does increase when you are tired and small small changes and loss of correct movements due to fatigue will put you in the zone. Touch wood you wont end up in that zone...

thanks for the reply..Alex

Run 400m
18 DB Thrusters

Max Power Snatch in :15 - 6/5/6/6/5/6 - 34

4 rounds untimed:

DB thrusters suck anyway! But holding them like you did is RX+! Gotta work them though, they have come up here and there.

I though it was just me finding them hard but I logged my score onto CompTrain and hardly anyone done it rx... If I had known I would of gone faster and just suffered!!

Yes a small comp.. Looks like I'm the only British man coming to the games this year, unless there's one in a random scandinavian team I missed.

Re: A Bears Tale

30 May 2016

EMOM 10 Snatch - 70k

Missed 5th once got it straight away and 7th twice and got it third time.

Snatch Grip Deadlifts 5 x 2 90k

Back Squat

100k x 3
110k x 3

Murph (modified, had no vest)

Run 1 mile
100 Pull ups
200 Push ups
300 Sit ups
Run 1 mile - 51.09

Had to change squats to sit ups as 300 air squats would just kill my knees and stop me squatting weights. This however was a lot harder following push ups with sit ups.

Re: A Bears Tale

Keep up the good work Scott.

Might have some heavy d balls again this year.. 120-150#. They keep on upping the weights. 2014 was 80# and 2015 was 100#.

Funny Craig E sent me a message that he was not going to compete because he had and injury that required surgery on a Friday. Then on Monday I read that he was going to compete injured or not. Kind of ruined my weekend with stress checking the email for the invite. I am glad that it was me who has been before. I could not have imagined someone going for the first time then finding out that they guy changed his mind. I am sure he owes me some sort of amends. But I have a feeling that next year if its a foot race I will chase him down unlike the other side of the pond smoker who missed out on the win.. lol.

I would be surprised if HSPU or HS Walks were not in it. The big fellas got lucky when no hspu in last years games. Was kind of sad to see them go.. my wheelhouse.

AA Bike might rear its ugly head.

Cheers
Vic
