1LT Nick Harris - 279 CAV - Work Out Post
Well, this is my first official post to keep up with my workouts! I have been sticking with crossfit religiously now for 4 months. But I have known about the WODs and site for almost 9 months. Within this last three to four months I have lost lost close to 19 lbs in full body weight! I am 6'0" tall and weight 177 lbs.
I think CrossFit rocks and I love and hate the WODs! God bless you guys! Okay, here we go (my times) ... WOD - 11 DEC 2007 100 Pullups 100 Situps 100 Squats 100 Pushups 29 mins 06 seconds I am disappointed with my time because I feel like I did these workouts wrong. I did each exercise individually and should have broke them up in to 10 to 15 rep increments. Hopefully next time I will get close to 20 mins or less, I definitely should have pushed it harder. |

Well, I did the 400M lunges halfway around our military facility here. Ouch!!! I am sore two days later. It took me 12:57 to do it, not to bad.

Angie - you have to complete 100 reps of pullups before moving on to pushups, 100 pushups before situps and 100 situps before squats.
10 sets of 10 pullups, 10 pushups, 10 situps and 10 squats is not Angie. You did it right. |

Five rounds, each for time of: 20 Pull-ups, 30 Push-ups, 40 Sit-ups, & 50 Squats Rest precisely three minutes between each round. My time was 34:29 (which included the three minute rest periods between rounds.) I was light headed and close to throwing up at the end of this work out! Freaking awesome! Barbara kicked my butt! |

5K Day
27:42... I definitely need to work on my running. Completely boring for me to run, I would rather have a soccer ball. Oh well... Have a blessed day all! |

3 rounds for time of: 500 meter Row 50 Squats 30 Back extensions I did 3 rounds instead of 5 due to time... |

(3) rounds for time: Run 400 meters 21 swings of 45 pound dumbbells 12 Pull-ups I completed this workout in 14:06... Good workout... I will move up in weight to 50 lbs next time. |

30 Muscle Ups for time...
If you cannot do the muscle-ups do 120 pull-ups and 120 dips... I do not have the rings yet so pull-ups and dips were my friend! My time was 21:14. My work out partner is hurt right now so I am working out by myself. I miss suffering with a friend. Happy New Year everyone! |

Okay... here we go... 14, 11, 5, 5, 4, 4, 3, 3 49 15, 16, 15, 12, 12, 12, 15, 12 106 25, 21, 20, 11, 10, 10, 8, 9 114 22, 22, 20, 22, 22, 20, 20, 19 167 Total 439 This is the first time I have done this exercise. I think I did it wrong now that I looked at other posts. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate the input. For situps I did crunches on a ball instead of military situps. Do I have to do military situps? Everything else I completed was fine except I was a little surprised I went downhill so fast on the pullups. I can usually knock out pullups pretty good. Is anyone doing kipping pullups or just basic pullups? Anyway, thanks and God bless! |
