I like what you've done with the place

Wow, nice forum! Still trying to figure it out. I've been busy and took about 8 months or so off the forum...I come back and find a totally re-vamped place! Life took an interesting turn, went over to a police drug unit from violent crime. I run the unit and it's like running a business. My hours also shifted. I am also teaching a college class...so something had to give, and forum time gave. For those of you who don't know me (and that would be a lot, from a quick perusal of the boards), I have been around here since 2003. Pretty much tried everything Crossfit and nutrition related. Built equipment, coached, injured myself (numerous times), mid 40s, got a degree in exercise physiology in '84 (things have changed), and I have used fitness gains from CF in numerous real world situations. I'm sort of a CF purest and don't get newbies messing with the system. I think my only contribution has been: Three weeks hard, one week half volume. That's about it, I'll see you all around the boards.

It's a strange day when Larry has to introduce himself to the CF board.

Welcome back, Mr. Spiderman-vault himself into the gypsy attic-Lindenman (yes, I still remember that testimonial)

Funny thought about you the other day viewing an old post in the archives.

Good to see you back and well Larry.

Just a head's up: A lot more newbies these days posting the same old questions over and over again (failing to hit the search button first) but this is still the same great place it was 8 months ago.

Re: I like what you've done with the place

Welcome! You might want to read the "FAQ" and "Start here" sections. Also check out the videos section if you don't know some of the exercises. If you have any questions, try the search function. If you still can't find your answer, post a thread and all the helpful people on the forum will try their best to help you out! Enjoy the ride! 3..2..1.. GO!!

(just kidding , welcome back, glad to have anouther source of information around)

Welcome back Larry. Today is actually the one year anniversary of when I began working on the board conversion.
