parking a car on stall mats

I am considering building a garage gym, but will still need to have my cars in the garage when the gym is not in use. My question is, will the stall mats break down if I park cars on them?

Re: parking a car on stall mats

I park mine on top an haven't had any issue. They are designed for horses, which might put more pressure per inch than a car. The tires really spread the weight...

Re: parking a car on stall mats

I wouldn't think so, but maybe over time they might warp. But either way I couldn't say for sure. I mean, if you think about it, they're made to have horses (which weigh close to a ton themselves) with metal horseshoes standing on them, walking on them, etc.

But then again, a horse moves around, whereas a car would be parked in the same spot day after day.

Car drippings would be my biggest concern.
