Drivecleaner Pop-up

I went in to look at my profile and got a Drivecleaner pop-up. I am familiar with it because there was a problem a month or two ago at another website that I frequent.

The pop-up offers to download some kind of antivirus (well anti-something) program. I'm not particularly experienced with or knowledgeable about this particular problem, but I understand that it is website based. An administrator ought to take a look at this.

Sounds like you have spyware installed.

Using Netscape will probably help fix the problem. I've had so many issues with Internet Exploder it's not even funny.

No, I don't. As I said, I'm somewhat familiar with the problem (the pop-up, not whatever it purports to sell). My drive is clean. This is a pop-up that installs through forums and other websites. That's why I brought it to your attention. I'm suggesting that you take a look at it. Another website that I frequent had so many users infected by the website that they had to shut down for several days. It happened shortly after they changed software. Coincidence? I'm not qualified to opine, but I wouldn't want that to happen here. Incidentally, I'm using a different computer today, so there is no connection between the incidents.
