I'm just getting started with CrossFit. I live in Dallas, TX near Mockingbird and Central Expressway. I'm looking for a "CrossFit friendly" gym in the area (ideally with an area for olympic lifts, pull-up bars, and some rings). I understand there is an affiliate in Plano, but I'm looking for someplace closer to where I live that I could work out at during the week. Unfortunately a garage gym isn't really an option for me.
Anyone have experience with gyms in this general area? Any suggestions? Thanks for the help. |

Jonathon,
I know Plano may be too far from you but we will be offering CrossFit workouts at a park in University Park by September at the latest. We are just working out the details at the moment. We've got some CrossFitters in the University Park area who want us to start something in that area so we are going to start with doing a Suffer on Saturday and add classes as demand grows. Unfortunately, we won't be doing very serious O-lifting in the park - for that you should come to Plano! Troy Dodson CrossFit Plano |
