Where could I get a home version of those playground things that is like a ladder running parallel to the ground? I figure that would be a good exercise and you could hang rings and do chinups off it as well?

A couple ways to do it cheaper:

Take your measurements to a welder

Make something simular out of rope and pvc

Attach a standard aluminum ladder..

Might could make out of plumbing pipes with Ts

I made my own years ago out of 2 2x12s and 1" dowels. Screwed it to the ceiling/floor joists in my basement using L brackets and it's worked for about 10 years. Unfortunately, I let my wife talk me into leaving it at the old house when we moved a year ago and it probably just gets used as a coat hanger now.
