I don't care if I'm being childish, I want my rings!
I know the wait will be worth it but getting I'm getting ancy. My DIY rings work perfectly well but they don't come with the muscle-up and iron-cross mojo. I couldn't bump the original thread because it was archived. |

I completely understand. I just got the first production samples today and will upload the pics to my site asap. They look and feel great. We should have some rings ready to ship out this friday or early the following week. As far as estimates go, I was a little off, but for a brand new product it's always difficult to be certain where you will be in a month.
If that's you in your avatar, I can see why you need the rings right away! Tyler |

Thanks Tyler.
Can't wait. So what if that's me in the avatar! I can do an iron cross just because the fat in my shoulders prevent me from raising my arms anymore |

In anticipation of the new rings, I spent several hours Saturday severely cramped up in my attic reinforcing the trusses above the great room so that I could hang my new rings from there. No longer will I be limited by the 8' ceiling in my garage. I still can't stand completely straight or bend over. =)
only a crossfit'r or power-ring user would understand either... everyone else just looks at me funny and asks "why do you have rings in your living room?!". ;) Of course, I had to put my old rings up temporarily until I receive the Elite rings. Then the old rings are going back to the garage for low exercises. BTW, They are currently around 7 1/2' high and I'm pretty short so I have to jump to get on them. No more holding up my knees/legs and hoping not to bash the concrete or smack my head on the ceiling - w00t!! here's some eye candy: http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/26/18478.jpg http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/26/18479.jpg http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/26/18480.jpg (Message edited by supadupamikey on January 17, 2006) |

Here are some pictures of our first production samples. http://www.ringtraining.com/pages/update.htm
The wait will soon be over. I'm hoping to get started shipping them this weekend. It might actually take a week to fulfull all of the pending orders. There are quite a few people on the list. Tyler |

Those look awesome. I hope you make a killing on them.
If you sold the black ones, you could probably tack on 50$ if you called it the 'tactical elite' version. |
