What's up fellas? I'm new to crossfit, as the thread name might suggest. Having formerly been obsessed with how big I could get my biceps, and chest, I have learned that, through browsing these awesome forums, that isn't really functional with what I plan to do with my future. Which is, attend BUD/S and live out a lifelong dream of becoming a SEAL. It's obvious now that crossfit is exactly what I am in need of. Anyways, I just thought I'd introduce myself to all you guys before I jump head-first into the WOD.

Welcome Kyle. You will love it here and yes, you are doing exactly the right thing. Lots of military special ops folks and civilian SWAT types here. Remember the name Grady McDonald. He will figure into both your CrossFit and your SEAL pursuits.

Welcome Kyle! I think you'll be right at home here, and couldn't find a better program to prepare yourself for what lies ahead.
