Toddler Squat Check

Doing a squat with my son Tanner.

SquatYOU MUST ENSURE YOU ANNOTATE ALL LINKS WHETHER WORK AND FAMILY SAFE.

I see I need to actually go lower. Not the greatest video but, maybe someone can tell me if I'm doing it right or not.

Re: Toddler Squat Check

Looks pretty good man... I know you had a small weight load, but try and keep your chest higher at the bottom... not to shabby.

Re: Toddler Squat Check

jeans may not be the most conducive leg wear for squatting, but thats ok A little more depth would be nice but the limiting of the jeans may have been causing that

Small weight? hehe 30#'s + of pure weighted love.

Chest up? Ok, I'll try that again tonight. When doing regular squats, at least the training at the local box said, I have pretty good form.

Thanks,

Michael

Yeah, I was in sort of a hurry and didn't really think about it. I felt, after viewing it myself, I could've went deeper. I'll try to focus on that and on keeping my chest up.

Thanks again,

Michael

Re: Toddler Squat Check

I think there is a little too much knee travel at the bottom, the first on looked good, but then the knees started to move through the whole range of motion. THey should only move forward at the top.

He is cute.

Re: Toddler Squat Check

Believe it or not, I agree with you. I've started playing a game with him and I'll go "Down" (and squat) and he mimics me. Then I'll say "Up" (stand up) and he stands up. I'll see about getting it on video.

Crazy little turd. I can't wait for it to warm up, he HATES being in the house. We'd let him out more but, he had a bad cold a few weeks ago (from being outside with me while I racked the leaves.).

Video to come soon.

Michael
