How do I size my Wright Ball Bearing Cable Speed Rope?

I am new to rope jumping and I just got a new Wright Ball Bearing Cable Speed Rope.

I have no idea how to change the length (the ends of the cable have some sort of piece that is wedged into the handle bearing shaft) and I have no idea how to determine the correct length.

Any help appreciated.

Re: How do I size my Wright Ball Bearing Cable Speed Rope?

1.Stand on the middle of the rope with one foot
2.Bring the handles straight up toward the ceiling like ski poles. Make sure the rope is taut.
3.For less experienced jumpers, the top of the handles should reach close to the shoulder; for more experienced jumpers the top of the handles should reach the armpit.

Tank You much for that advice. I will give it a try. I found the philips screw that must be backed out to change the length of the rope.

I will set it to the Novice length for sure.
