Thanks, I started doing hammer curls today, and shaving. Thanks for the heads up!

I do two sets of straight bar curls and hammer curls twice a week. I also do 2 sets of db skull crushers and 1 armed rope press downs twice a week.

Next you're gonna admit to posing in the mirror all oiled up in your man thong.

As long as the whole workout doesn't revolve around them, and they're not in the sqaut rack; I don't see a problem with them.

And if anyone should shave, it's me. I think I may be the wolfman.

Re: Seen at the globo yesterday

Seen yesterday:

Good: A guy from Crossfit Kelowna teaching his friend SS and he was doing cleans at my gym. He used me as an example to show squat depth. Afterwards we chatted for a bit about SS and squats. He was also the only person I've seen at my gym who know what VFFs were. Chatted about those and how much I like them.

Bad: "Elite" hockey player performing deadlift-reverse curls (aka - "cleans"). I'm a little shocked that his S&C coach has never corrected his form, but that's modern fitness professionals for you I guess.

It was a weird situation - on my left, horrible cleans by a pro hockey player; on my right, good looking cleans by an average joe.

sounds like you were in the middle of a clean sandwich... Personally I'd rather have that than be the meat in a dirty sandwich... consider yourself lucky...

There are probably pictures of him in that pose somewhere on the interweb.

The rugby players I mentioned were doing their working sets at 80kg. Meanwhile, an average joe was in the corner doing his sets with 100kg. With his running shoes off, in his socks.

Re: Seen at the globo yesterday

Pro rugby players in your gym? That sounds like a pretty cool gym regardless of their form. Maybe they were still drunk?
