Re: What Vegas Hotels Have the Best Gyms ?

My experiences:

The Venetian has a nice gym. I'm talking about the hotel gym, not the one in the Canyon Ranch Spa, which is also inside the Venetian but isn't as nice. The gym was quite large, had dumbbells, barbells, a place for pullups and no-one complained when I did a barbell complex workout.

The gym in the Mandalay Bay isn't as large/nice -- more of a hotel-style gym with some dumbbells and cardio machines.

I'm actually leaving for vegas tomorrow myself. I'm staying @ Mandalay Bay and I checked out their gym via the website.. lots of dumbells but I didnt see a squat rack or barbells. I might just jog to the nearest 24 hour fitness or take a cab.

Last time I was there, I just popped into CFLV. Is it still just down the strip on the other side of the airport?

Why not contact John Broz from Average Broz Gym? I think his place is near the airport wfs (contact him and ask if you can stop by it's not an open gym). Get some weightlifting technique coaching from a legit oly coach and see some of his talented lifters do their thing, would be a unique and superior experience to a hotel gym or affiliate in my opinion.

10 - 15 minutes from the strip is Sin City CrossFit - (WFS) Great gym and great trainers!
