Hello my numbers are Fat 80, Carb 315, Protein 225
This has been working great the last few months but now that school is back in I'm feeling tired when I get off and go to the gym. Should I up my carbs and lower my Fat thanks for any help.

Re: Macro's

Where did you get your numbers from? I've been using Working Against Gravity for the last month and really like it so far. The key for me has been making sure I get 30% of my carb allotment 2 hours before working out an another 30% after. How long have you been eating those numbers? It took a while for my body to adjust to the number of carbs I'm not eating. I was following typical paleo on and off for 4 years.

Re: Macro's

17 pounds in a month? That is pretty extreme weight loss, I would definitely up your calories in general. How much do you weigh? Estimated bf %?

Re: Macro's

You lost 17 lbs on almost 3k cals per day? Something is a bit off about that.

Re: Macro's

It seems like you have lost quite a lot of weight already, so it's probably not best to change your diet too much. For me personally, I would take off about 50 or so grams off carbs and add it to fat and pro. But hey, you're paying your coach for these nutrition so maybe talk it over with him.

BTW for the other posters, when you're over 225 lbs you can def lose weight on 3k cals a day.

Maurice,

Since you are now on your feet longer per day, I wouldn't lower your fats, but up your protein a bit. If anything I think that's too many carbs, but that's just my take.
