Maybe I misheard Machida, but I am 99% sure that at the end of the fight, during the interview when asked about a rematch, Machida said "sure, I'll try again." I may be way off here, but that means to me that he knows he got beat down and will try again. My opinion.

Seemed to me that Shogun won 3 of the rounds, but I haven't watched the fight a second time.

Anyone else surprised that Machida of all people is doing so well in what has been a very tumultuous weight class for a long time now?

Silva ought to be able to take him out no problem, though...

I think Silva is on the record saying he will never fight Machida because they are such good friends.
