Helen - 11:30 CTB(down 2 minutes from first time)
Jackie - 11:42 CTB(down 1 minute)
Fran - 9:42 CTB(First time doing it at 95#)
Murph - 54:07 CTB(First time ever doing Murph was happy to be under an hour)

Besides that I'm down to 180# after a starting weight of 208#. Also thought I'd give a photo update and comparison.

I have included shot from before CrossFit and at my current 3 month mark. All I have to say is thank you CrossFit and the amazing trainers at CrossFit Simi.
Dude...looking like some real progress going on. 25 or so pounds in 3 months is no joke! I bet you feel amazing.

Thanks for posting. It's good to see other peoples progress timelines. It helps give context to our own.

I started paleo on 5/1, and paleo/zone on 6/1. I'm very excited to see how much more things improve by 8/1 (when I hit the 3 month mark).

LOL. Probably lost a pound in sweater weight.
I kid because I have to do the same thing once a month or the wife gets mad.
I still remember the itch those first few days.
Seriously, great work...keep it up.

You lost 28lbs in 3 months?????? It took me a year and a half to do that!
Nice job! You should be very proud of what you've accomplished!

good job matthew! crossfit has definitely made a difference in your life. good job with the diet, also, it really makes a huge difference. keep it up!

something you might want to think about doing is a cycle of starting strength? if you are just starting to handle 95lbs on 'fran' you might benefit from a month or two of SS. in the beginning of SS your gains will be exponential so you might as well take advantage of that until you plateau.

i rock the sweater too! being a man is back in for 09'.

Re: Going on 1 month. W/ pics

Thanks you guys I really appreciate all the comments. Yeah I was thinking of doing Starting Strength to help me on some of the WODs or just doing like 1-2 heavy days at my affiliate to help in that department. Feeling stronger each time I do another benchmark. Hoping to go to the SoCal qualifiers next year to compete. Who know we will see how things go.

Wish I could grow a sweater. Oh well, like Dad says, "You can't grow hair on steel."
