My hunch is that I'm simply not getting enough food in me, but I eat whenever I'm hungry. Any thoughts? Here are some typical days from my food log:

adding calories will help, but there is also the possibility that you are over training. what does your workout schedule look like? how many weeks have you been going since you had a break?

Re: No Grains/No Sugars Support Group!!

Ted,

I've been doing CrossFit for about three weeks, 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off. I did Murph last Thursday and given my less than athletic previous life you may be right. I've been adding some extra fruit to my diet and I felt much better today so who knows!

Amber! It has been awhile! How is life with an extra stripe and a new ship?

<return to regular scheduled discussion>

If anyone needs any inspiration, my wife has been eating Paleo-Zone for a while now and is down 30lbs in the last 4 months. She recently joined the local CF affiliate too so We expect he to improve even further.

(BTW just bragging she knocked out a perfect OHS on her first ever try the other day)

Re: No Grains/No Sugars Support Group!!

after being not very strick Paleo for a few months I'm going to get back on the wagon so I can get strong & a little more lean.

I'm going to post some here for a few days & then go on vacation w/o laptop & will jornal then report back when I get home.

No grain, no sugar & no sugar subs.

I give anyone who wants it permission to check in/hold me acc. or whatever.

I don't think I will go PERFECT. If there is a little sauce or a little dressing w/ sugar or whatever I don't want to freak, But I'm going very clean to see how my body performs.

maybe go MB perfect someday.

yea I've found that fruit, especially like a huge peach or apple, will give me problems. Kind of annoying when my favorite fruit besides strawberries are peaches.

Re: No Grains/No Sugars Support Group!!

What's up NG/NS SG? I've been gone for awhile while transitioning from Active Duty. My workouts and diet have definitely suffered but I'm ready to get back into it. Most of you probably forgot or don't know but cookies are a big weakness for me. I also tend to make just about anything into a sandwich when I'm in a hurry, which has been often.

I'm looking for a good kitchen scale to help me stay as close as possible to my Zone blocks and start living clean.

Stay on me and hold me accountable.

Pete
