WOD: 12 Burpees, 12 Pullups.......10 Rd's for time

Didn't get to the workout today....Another 24 at the firehouse and I'm feeling some crazy DOM's in my legs from Cindy.....Tomorrow morning will either be today's workout or the workout that is about to be posted....whichever is more geared towards metcon as I'm cutting weight back down at the moment....

Weight: 216
Mood: Stiff

Tomorrows workout is run 5k. Which I may do in the evening if I'm feeling it, however, the morning workout will be the 12 burpees and 12 pullups for 10 rounds for time. I'll be shooting for 14 minutes, but who knows. Also hoping to go surfing tomorrow, weather permitting.

I just kicked my own a$$.

WOD: 12 Burpees, 12 Pullups....Ten rounds for time.

Time: 16:02

Warmed up with 500m row on C II. Time- 1:45

Two rounds of Cindy, untimed.

1000m Row - 4:43

1000m Row - 4:13 (PR)

Weighted pullups, 45lbs. 1x5

1 Set of Shoulder press at 115 lbs for 5 reps just because my buddy is doing SS and I got bored waiting for him.

1 set of 5 reps, 45lb weighted pullups.

- Awesome workout. I hit it today like I should be everyday. Looking forward to my next CFT as I feel much stronger moving the weight around than I did when it last came up....I can almost see the 1,000lb. club now....

Weight: 216
Mood: Hungry

WOD: CrossFit Total

Press: 175

Squat: 325

Deadlift: 415 PR

Total: 915

Very happy with deadlift. Disgusted with press. Annoyed with squat. 1,000 CFT seems far away. Blah.

Weight: 218
Mood: GO BUCKEYES!

Your CFT is awesome buddy. You have me on the press and squat but I've got your *** on the Deadlift

Sorry about your Buckeyes...

Re: A CrossFit Ninja's Log

Hey, no complaining about your Total, if you kick your own tail the previous day. 120 burpees plus 2000m rowing? Small wonder your squat wasn't all it could be. That's just the way it goes with the main page WOD. You can't always PR, even when you're fitter, simply because of what came up the previous day.

Good work over here. Sounds tough to stick to a routine with your job, but it sounds like you do a good job of balancing out the physical requirements of the two. You'd hate to be thoroughly fried when it's time to move a morbidly obese man out of a building in a hurry.
