post w/o meal and the Zone

I workout early in the morning before anything else. I then follow the workout with a post w/o meal consisting of water, whey powder and banana. I then have breakfast about an hour later. New to The Zone. Where does the post w/o meal fit in?

Re: post w/o meal and the Zone

Aaron - different people have different opinions on this. It has been covered quite a few times. Some like chocolate milk, others eat a zone meal etc etc. I personally like to use the window to have a higher carb meal eg. whey protein mixed with a high carb drink and then a while later have a zone meal with higher fat content and lower carb.

Search the boards and look at the responses. Try a couple of different approaches and see what works best for you.
