Gillian Mounsey Article

Hmm, having trouble posting the link but if your interested go to starting strength website and theres a link to a new article by Gillian Mounsey. Article is called A New Perspective.

Seems that this forum won't let links from Starting Strength be posted but other websites are fine????

You cannot link to SS or Robb Wolf's site from here, there's also already a post on the forum about Gillian's article.

Also why can't you link to SS and Robb Wolf? Is it cause there anti-crossfit?

Re: Gillian Mounsey Article

right now its smack on the main page. of ss.com.
they are blocked because restriction of information will keep everyone doing crossfit instead of making intelligent informed decisions for themselves. that or its just punitive because they broke ranks and got fired

or not

Re: Gillian Mounsey Article

Wow, that's crazy!!!!

And really petty.

Really shouldn't limit info. Gotta let people get as much info for themselves as possible and make there own decisions.

Don't censor people cause they dont agree with you.

Re: Gillian Mounsey Article

She made some very good points.

I was watching some videos of Rob Orlando doing strongman stuff a bit ago. He used to be able to clean and press an axle with 365lbs on it.

I realize that he's lighter and more fit overall but a 275 thruster doesn't seem like progress to me. It seems like taking a big strong guy trying to turn him into something else.
