Cole's Workout Log
I have never been very good at keeping track of my workouts, at least not consistently, so I am going to try logging them online to see if that helps anything. Maybe getting a little encouragement from the community will keep me logging. I figure I'm already looking at the message boards everyday anyway(though I don't post much).
I don't always follow the WOD from the main site, though that is mostly because I go to the rec center at a University (Purdue), which is not crossfit friendly. I am going to be trying a little harder now to follow the main site WOD, though I am working a day behind.
6 a.m. 10-12 of jump rope to start the morning off. Worked on basic bounce and alternate footstep. I am really trying to improve my rope skills so I am likely to do it in the morning before I go to work.
First time doing OHS with weights, usually just practice them with PVC pipe. Felt pretty good on them though, probably could have gone a little heavier. Front squats felt good. Back Squat felt pretty good. My PR back squat is 215. I think I can go higher, but I am afraid of failing on them and getting kicked out of the gym for throwing weights... can't wait for my garage and weight set next month when I move. When I was done I played a couple games of basketball. Felt nice to work the jello feeling out of my legs.
