Problems with Firefox?

I use Mozilla Firefox. I tried logging in a few minutes ago and it said I entered an invalid username or password. I carefully tried again. No go. Then I went through the password reset process and it gave me the same message. I ended up maxing out my attempts and locking my account. After waiting the allotted 15 minutes, I tried again, with both my old password and the new one that was emailed to me. Still unable to log in. I finally (as a last resort) tried using Internet Explorer to log in. Lo and behold it worked. Anybody know what gives? Does anyone else use Firefox? Am I the only one who has had this problem?

Re: Problems with Firefox?

George, thanks for the info. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I was just able to log in successfully using my original username. Weird.

Re: Problems with Firefox?

We apparently had a database hiccup this morning and had to restore passwords. If you have problems logging in after using the password reset function, clear your cookies and cache.
Thanks,

Re: Problems with Firefox?

You can log in with your old Discus id, but the only place this is checked is when you log in. This was done so that after we cut over from Discus there would be a minimum of disruption. If you recover your password/login, it will be first and last name.

Like Lynne said, make sure to clear your cookies. If you had 'Remember Me' checked you end up with multiple login cookies and vBulletin can't tell who you are.
