With the bench press showing up a few times in the last few weeks I got to thinking. Is there any reason why horizontal pulling movements like bent-over rows or DB rows are never prescribed in the WOD's? Still fairfly new to CF, but coming from a PL background rows were highly touted as a means of injury prevention by counterbalancing all the pressing. Any ideas? Loving the program so far!

Good articles on rows at the following link and Pendlay row in particular. The bent over row is a very beneficial exercise. I'm just starting to play with Pendlay variation. The link is w/f safe. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showpo...9&postcount=15

you can also try front lever pullups or any of the progressions- such as doing pullups from an advanced tuck position (more rom, cause knees are out of the way).
