Foam Roll Alternative for Travel

Any idea? I'm traveling in a few days, and prefer to travel with carry-on only.

I have a shorter foam roll, but it's still a bit too large.

Anyone have any ideas for alternatives that take up less space?

Lacrosse ball. It may be a bit aggressive, but you should be able to make it work.

I did a search and found someone uses a 2 liter bottle. Empty for beginners, filled or filled and fozed for others.

A short piece of PVC pipe, 4-6" in diameter. Stuff its hollow insides with your socks or toiletries and it essentially takes up zero space. It is a bit more aggressive than a normal foam roller though. A lacrosse ball works too.

That's an excellent idea. Hollow is perfect. Don't know if I'll have time to pick this up, but thanks.

This works amazingly.

I wrapped hockey tape around each end to give it some traction on the floor (otherwise it 'shoots' from under me across the room.)

Another option: self-fusing silicon tape.

Yeah, they tend to get squirmy if you don't wrap them in something with traction :-)

Mine has thin automotive carpet glued on.

For non-diy option. The mini-grid roller from Trigger Point Therapy. Is a few inches wide and is hollow for socks and stuff (which is an excellent idea BTW).
Is still pretty firm and doesn't scoot across the room like PVC.
