4 Foot Box Jump - Finally.

I finally hit my goal of a 48" box jump: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED5CkNlpH_w (WFS).

I don't have much more clearance, so I may have to wait until the weather warms up before I go higher...

Anthony, very nice.

Although there did appear to be a little bit more headroom between the rafters!

Well done, must have been all those Tabata Squat Jumps.

I'll be incorporating Tabata SJ as soon as I can. I never thought of them.

Nice work Anthony! Now seriously, what kind of crazy person makes a 48" box?

impressive jump for a big man! i dont know if this matters to you, but you did do a little hop before your jump. good job though! i recently got 48 inches from a standstill as well. box jumps are a lot of fun (except when you miss).

Re: 4 Foot Box Jump - Finally.

Thanks guys - I was pretty stoked to hit it!

Leonid - I'm a towering 5'7. Look out NBA ...

Jake, I was just happy to make the jump and still have the skin on my shins! I'll have to pay attention to the hop next time around.

Re: 4 Foot Box Jump - Finally.

You know, Anthony,

The title does leave some unanswered questions.

..-Finally.

So what was the progression up to the successfull 48" jump? I'm cringing just thinking about the misses before you got that one.
