Donald,

I'll have to get that. For now Swinging Doors is my theme song. The Heart of Saturday Night by Tom Waits is a close second.

Brian, I have to admit, I'd never heard of Debbie Gibson. And now that I've found this: http://www.deborah-gibson.com/multimedia/videos/
I think I could've done without.
That IS demented, especially to work out with.
So, ahh Matt, what was the name of that academy again...?
Maybe we can send them a letter of recommendation.

Matt, right after I got out of the Air Force, I signed up for police academy in Charleston South Carolina. Then while I was on the waiting list, I scored a job working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, and they sent me to Scotland for a really decent paycheck with per diem. I couldn't give that up so easily. That's one of those decisions I've made in my life that I sometimes regret.
But then sometimes, I have this problem maintaining my objectivity. Just recently I saw a newscast about some dirtbag that got caught raping a neighbors 2yo daughter. As I sat and watched the arrest in disgust, I couldn't help but wonder how them guys could arrest him and not beat him into a grease spot. I'd want to spend some serious "quality time" with him.
Go for it dude, and give it all ya got.

Anything hard and heavy.

A few of the songs on my mp3 player right now:
various Kidney Thieves
Got the Life - Korn
some classic rock (Donald, I too love Stanglehold)
BOB by Outkast (if you can't get going to that, you're dead)
Come Out and Play by Offspring

I find the Top 40 poppy stuff that they play in the gym more conducive to making love than working out. Course, much of it is alot like CrossFit....it gives me the urge to puke.

I haven't listened to music while lifting/running for about five years now - I can't seem focus on the task at hand. I'm amazed that so many folks can listen and lift...
