Yesterday, one day before my 36th birthday, I did it:

36 muscle-ups in less than 36 minutes!

It took me 32:37 to do all 36, in 6 triples and 9 doubles. The first 30 muscle-ups took 24:10.

As I got my first muscle-up in August, my original goal was to do 36 muscle-ups *in one day* before my birthday, so this is really a big improvement. Although I was not really sure if I could do it, I knew I was close - my previous best was 15 muscle-ups done as 5-4-3-2-1 in about 12 minutes. Finally I am able to do the famous 30 MUs workout!

Thanks to CrossFit for introducing me to gymnastics, and especially to the rings!

Cheers,

Christian

And BTW, for all you other non-native English readers like me, some articles on what "shizzle" may be and where it came from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/-izzle and http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/~haroldfs/...rds/izzle.html ...

Have fun,

Christian

Don't know how I missed this post earlier considering my own goal of 22 muscleups in one day for my 22nd birthday. My birthday is in 7 days and this is definitely added motivation. 22 in 22 minutes is beyond me so maybe 23 in 23 minutes next year, I am still going for 22 in a day for 2005.

Congratulations man that is awesome.
