Re: Chris's Log

7x3 weighted chins

bodyweight x 5
25 x 5
45 x 3
(65 x 3) x 7

Felt like I could have gone 5 or 10 pounds heavier, but didn't really push that hard after all the muscle ups yesterday

Re: Chris's Log

21-15-9
205 Deadlift
pushups
pullups

13 mins.

Definitely a weak time. Did waste about a min and a half trying to figure out what to do when someone took my shoulder press bar to go do curls.

Re: Chris's Log

Kinda Murph, not for time.

3 rounds:
double unders until Francis finished rowing
25 GHS
25 KTEs
50 Back Extentions

Mostly not for time because the shot put coach found it necessary to come over and tell me that I shouldn't be hyperextending on my situps... for what fwlt like 5 minutes.. then later to tell me thay my knees to elbows were all wrong (bs).. and again to tell me my situps were to fast for about 3 mins... and then later again to tell me that I'm not getting any ab workout and actually stop my workout to show me the proper technique for a crunch. Wooooooow....

.... I was kinda mad.. ruined my workout.

On the plus side.. good change to get some double under work in.. record was 10 in a row.

Re: Chris's Log

Yesterday:

Gymnastics Day:

~10mins handstand work before and after intermediate ring workout from ring training site (reg pullups instead of L)

Today:
1000m Row
Rounds:
7 155lb Back Squat
20 Pullups

25 mins.

Really weak time.. Probably could have cut at least 5 mins of. Also, was having trouble kipping... I didn't realize I was doing the kip for a muscle up untill like the 4th round..

Worked out at 4th power for the first time.. it was nice.

21-15-9 for time, with 5-3-1 rope climbs:
100lb OHS
ring Dips

14 min flat.

Pretty good workout... My shoulders hurt.

Re: Chris's Log

Was Hoping for a little more restful rest day, but no luck.

Basic "show you what we're all about" work with wrestling team

dynamic WU
few squats
demo thrusters
ball slams (+burpee combos)
kb swings
20 consecutive pullups (pr)
bear complex w/ bar x 15ish
tabata squats

Ball slams and swings were especially weak.

Re: Chris's Log

Scaled down FGB with wrestling:

3 rounds with a min break between of:
45 lb push press 30, 30, 31
Jump Squats 24, 29, 31
SDHP 45 lb 23, 20, 26
Rower 15, 15, 15 (last round was the only one i got to score.. assuming i did at least as well on the first 2)
Wall Ball (20lb) 25, 20, 25

Round 1: 117
Round 2: 114
Round 3: 128

Total: 359

Not Bad.. First ever FGB.. Push Press felt too light, because.. well.. they were. Other then that.. very good.
