First time ever with any real number of HSPU in a workout, let alone JT..

21:48 subbing dips on my fence for ring dips, HSPU were head to floor

Happy overall, especially for getting my first HSPU about a month ago, just need to work on getting nose to floor now.

Re: Chris's Log

Missed Yesterday's squats simply because i never had the time, its tough getting everything in while getting back to school.

Today did the Tabata something else with L-sits for situps

Towel Pull-ups (strict): 7, 7, 7, 7, 6, 6, 5, 5
Push-ups: 13, 12, 12, 12, 10, 8, 7, 6
L-sits: first interval all the way out, next 7 between 90 and 135 knee angle
Squats: 15, 14, 13, 13, 13, 13, 13, 13

Tabata was humbling as always, the L-sits were especially hard cause i could barely hold myself up after the pushups.

Took me about 5 minutes to even think about getting up afterwards, then went swimming for ~15 mins.

Re: Chris's Log

5x5 Shoulder Press

bar x 5
65 x 5
95 x 5
95 x 5
100 x 5
100 x 5
100 x 5

5 strict pullups after each round just 'cause.

Possibly could have added another 5 pounds. Other then that, it was good.

Re: Chris's Log

Oh. My. God.

so hard.

4 rounds for time:
50 squats
15 towel pull ups
15 HSPU

33:30

HSPU probably an inch off the ground. Did them against bricks so there wa a lot of resistance (excuses, excuses). No Pull up bar, so draped a towel over a beak of my porch; cut the # in half cause i couldn't kip. Squats were fine, but broken up a little to much for my liking, still working on that.

Please be a 10k tomorrow? Please?

Re: Chris's Log

5x5 Deadlifts

CFWU times ~4-5 while waiting for a bar to open up

45 x 5
95 x 5
135 x 5
175 x 5
195 x 5
225 x 5
245 x 5
225 x 5

Trying to work perfect form. Lower back was especially sore from yesterday for some reason.

Fran tomorrow

Re: Chris's Log

Really happy with my performance today.

Fran as Rx'd in ~7:30 (timed w/ a wall clock)

-1:30 from last time

Thrusters felt good, especially through the transition which I've had trouble with in the past. Pull ups were more broken then I'd have liked but my grip and back were still recovering from yesterday.

Re: Chris's Log

Did 120 Pull Ups/Dips instead of posted WOD

23:40

took my time for full ROM: all pull ups chest to bar, all dips almost hand to armpit.

I think I hurt my right shoulder just a little.. My kipping got pretty crazy near the end to make it all the way up. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.
