I also would like the updated address. I made the Cheddar-Bacon Meatloaf the other day and loved it! Thanks George!

Re: George's Recipe Corner

Blog was deleted, but I saved all the recipes I wanted for personal use.

I don't want to go into it, but someone from this forum felt the need to comment on everything I did, and it wasn't exactly something I wanted to deal with.

I had nearly 100 hits a week, I'm flattered, but I'm going to be posting only things I make in my new log, and well, its not here.

The CrossFit community in my mind has taken a huge turn for the worse. Its come down to personal attacks behind the scenes down from the lowliest of members to all the way up to the top.

It sad that up at HQ they need to air their dirty laundry in the middle of the street rather than do that **** where it belongs. If you have a problem with someone, you go to that person, you work it out and there is no need to make it public.

The sad fact that HQ feels the need to do this in my mind tells me that CrossFit is now only about making money. It is not about fitness. In fact I care to wager that HQ gives a flying **** about any of you being fit. They don't. They care about you paying your money to fill their coffers. I refuse to be be part of it and in fact, if I could have my $1000 back for the cert I went to, I'd gladly use it for gym equipment now.

Its kind of like the sad history of the Heimlich maneuver.

I think once upon a time it was about something big, but that time has passed.

All the cultists can chime in and hate me but the truth is apparent. The end.

Re: George's Recipe Corner

George,

Wow. I don't really pay attention to the national site politics, so don't know what you're referring to with the HQ stuff, but I can understand not wanting to deal with idiots on your own blog - sorry to hear that happened.

The recipes were a good resource - I really liked the ones I tried, and thank you for sharing them while you did. If you ever change your mind and decide to publish them again (maybe with comments locked?), please let us know.

-Daniel

I am new to crossfit.

So I don't know about all this, however, all of Georges old recipes can still be found in the google cache.

That is a shame.

Thanks for all the great work you put in George! I've really enjoyed all the recipes.
