Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

hello fellow crossfitters,

im new here. my wife has been here for at least 5 weeks and has seen some pretty solid results. she introduced me to the site thinking itd would help me better prepare for an upcoming grappling tournament and for a future in MMA.

to date, ive approx. 5 or 6 crossfit workouts. i usually do them in the morning so i have to modify them for time(or be late for work) but so far, im feeling great. my energy is up, which is a plus on days when im sparring. my endurance is up and i feel stronger in just a few weeks. i can't say crossfit has helped my mental strength but since ive started using your workouts i feel a certain edge that i didnt have before.

i look forward to everyone reaching their goals



p.s. i'm contractually obligated to mention that my wife/trainer & coach is a genius or else she'll flog me with a stick

Welcome. I'm a relative newbie also, but can attest to the fact that this message board has a huge wealth of knowledge. I'm sure you'll benefit as much from it as you do your CF workouts.

Welcome aboard. I too have experienced a great improvement in endurance in the two months I've been playing with CF.

Be sure to check out the Getting Started link, as well as the three links on the upper right side of that page (FAQ, etc.)
