new to crossfit needs advice

i just recently started doing crossfit. i play football in highschool and i heard that cross fit is better than regular body buildingworkouts and that it makes your body in better athletic shape rather than just taditional isolated muscle workout do you have any advice how i should change my workout program or should i just add the WOD to my normal lift routine.

Just do the WOD. Trust me, it will be more than enough. If it isn't, there's a 99% chance you didn't try hard/fast/heavy enough.

Re: new to CrossFit needs advice

stick to the WOD and go 100% i wish i knew about CF in high school i would have hit twice as hard on the field and ice. If you want to see a big improvement in your performance you can throw the "I Love Myself" (isolation) workouts out the window. Good luck

I feel the same way as the other guys, just follow the WOD and hit it as hard as you can. God if I knew about CF in high school I would have been a monster on the wrestling mat. Man 10 year reunion is this year........
