Pulled a 1:39.8 today. Broke 140! Prior was 1:40.2

Damper set at 6.

Wow-- That is the toughest 1 min 39 secs ever. What a workout.

I tried to do some other things in the gym today, ie. Pull-ups. Yeah-- Was not feeling it after that row!

Happy Holidays.

Good job!

And for the record, I consider it a victory when I can stand up after a tough 500m row.

I know what you mean Sam. After pull a fast 500m a mild panic almost sets in as I try to catch my breath. I get the shakes for awhile too, good stuff!

Hey what kinds of damper/spm are you guys getting on your 500M?

I just timed my first 500M max effort today and came out with a 1:32, Damper on 10, 40spm....haha that was pretty ridiculous... the guy rowing next to kept looking at me like I was crazy (I was a little wobbly walking away)

If you could walk away, you didn't go hard enough.

Adding to Andy's comment on effort, if you still have enough dexterity to undo the foot straps, you left something in the tank. If you flop over to one side on the ground with your feet still attached to the straps then it was a good effort. David

haha I think this is the only place where I tell people that I was stumbling around like a drunken sailor after using a rower and they tell me I wasn't going hard enough. I love it.
