Fringe Sports OFW OneFitWonder Wonder Bar, version two.

Anyone tried it yet? At $200 shipped I really like the price point and the spin looks great. I was thinking about buying it and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. The only draw back I have is they only offer a 1 year warranty when almost everyone else offers a lifetime.

Here's the bar I am talking about and there is a video at the bottom of the page.

I used the wonder bar for about a month, and IMO the spin was super nice for a $200 bar.

Why only a month?

I've had the OFW men's oly bar. For about $200 this is a steal of a deal. It's the cheapest bar out there for the best quality. It has AMAZING spin, if you can seem from the video. I bought this bar along other a squat pull up rack and I love them both,

I decided to upgrade to a Vulcan elite bushing bar because I wanted something a little nicer. Being $300+, the Vulcan is obviously an overall better bar so I don't think it would be fair to compare the two.

With that said, I thought that the wonder bar still spun better than the Vulcan because of the needle bearings.

Got ya. I have been looking at a couple different rogue bars (ohio and rogue), the again faster bar, and the get rxd bar. Other then some of the pricier rogue bars I can't really see a reason to spend more other then the warranty anyway. I bought the wife an Again faster bar for christmas and its nice, but a bit noisy when dropped IMO. I have used the Rogue Bar and they too are nice but nothing amazing, same with the get rxd. Just never really tried any true oly bars or high end bars yet to know what the hype is all about I guess.

There are a lot of little things you'll notice. Smooth spin on the sleeves reduces strain on your wrists on Oly lifts. Well constructed sleeves are quieter when the bar is dropped. Good knurl is consistent with no fade-in/out. Coatings are smooth/even and look good.

The things that are harder to notice are the strength of the steel, which only becomes apparent if you're moving enough weight to get a bent bar from dropping it with bumpers. Generally though, if you get a bar under 125k tensile or under 1200 lb rating, you shouldn't be moving more than 200 lbs overhead and dropping it often.

To be honest, it looks a lot like an Again Faster Team AF black zinc bar.

Again Faster has a lifetime warranty with their bars.

Yes, I do know that the Team AF bar is really noisy. But it gets the job done.

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one. I figure with the 100% no questions asked guarantee it would be hard to go wrong. If I don't like it I'll just send it back. I'll write a review in a few weeks with my thoughts and maybe a video (never done one before).

Re: Fringe Sports OFW OneFitWonder Wonder Bar, version two.

I know this is an older thread but wanted to hear more feedback from people who now have had this bar for a few months of using it.

Seems like a great deal especially for a bearing bar. I have the team bar and I find it's just so noisy when dropped. Not a great big deal but it is annoying when I'm working out later at night in my garage gym and I know the neighbors are sleeping.
