Shoulder pain from tight traps?

Hey all. I've had a little shoulder pain for a while, and its not been to the point where i have to stop lifting or anything, but it does worry me.

Is it possible to have some shoulder problems due to very tight neck/trapezius region? the pain usually comes in around the front deltoid or a bit below the rear delt around the cuff area. Occasionally there's some faint popping while warming up but other than that it seems to be alright for now...

at first i thought rotator cuff.. then i thought tight bicep? but my neck and traps are freaking tight no matter how much i seem to stretch them..

Anyone have insight or the same issue?
