Clauss' Workout Log

I am 27 and have been doing Crossfit in a friend's garage for about four months now. I try to eat zone but I have been addicted to carbs for my entire life and have had troubles in that area. I am love racquetball and usually play at least 8 hours a week. I started Crossfit because I've always known about it but could never motivate myself to actually do it on my own. When I found out about someone that did it in their garage and could use other people, I jumped at the chance. I love it. I started this log so I could have some way of tracking my workouts whenever I am traveling. I've noticed that I feel the best on the days that I Crossfit, even though I'm getting up at 4:45 to get it done before work.

Re: Clauss' Workout Log

We are usually about two days behind the main site.

Todays WOD

1 Mile Run
100 Situps
100 Back Extensions
1 Mile Run

Completed in 29:13, that second mile was rough with all of those back extensions. Split up Situps 33/34/33, Back Extensions 50/25/25

Re: Clauss' Workout Log

Yesterday I did a modified version of the 7 RFT of 10 Wallball and 10 Pullups

10 DB Thrusters - 20 lbs each
10 Assisted Pullups

in 6:45. Not strong enough to consistently get big butt up on pullups, especially on own pullup bar which does not allow kipping.

Re: Clauss' Workout Log

Today I did the Crossfit Open 10 min AMRAP workout of 30 Double Unders/15 Power Snatches

When I showed up the bar was set with 65 lbs so I just went with it.

I finished with 4 rounds exactly. It was really tough cardio wise with the double unders, especially since I played roughly 7 hours of racquetball the past two days. It sure felt good to finish though. Great workout.
