Re: traing with leg length difference

It was measured with a Ct scan lying down .

Personally I'm not totally convinced in the testing

Go to a PT or chiro who can diagnose & correct pelvic dysfunctions

Re: traing with leg length difference

A bone scan IS the most accurate method out there, but it still depends on how they measured the bone.....

If they just took where the ends up your feet lined up, its hardly accurate. If they found the length of the femurs to be different, then it's saying something.

You may want to clarify with the radiologist before you move forward, because true leg length difference are VERY rare.

Re: traing with leg length difference

I Will check with the radiologist. I'm pretty sure the report did say that there was femur difference and Fibula and the Tibia difference. I'm still not sold, I haven't had any major sickness growing up. I did remember wearing out the right sole under my big toe of my shoe when I was growing up. Ive done a fair bit of running and never had a problem with lower body except for my feet . It was only recently I strained my right glute dead lifting and started get sciatic pain that it were the leg difference was picked up . I have been working on the hips program Bret Contreras wrote that I found on eat move improve .its got my glutes working again, I've had no pain after made it to phase 2 .I'm not sure the full lift really did anything and the half lift just made my Achilles sore, felt like wear a high heel on one foot.

The sports doctor told me lots of people have leg length difference

I did go to the chiro and physio . The chiro was like a used car sales man trying to sign me up for a whole year. I went for a couple of month didn't make any difference. and the physio was hopeless told me to stretch and build up by riding a bike and swimming
