Exclamation Feet pain on Clean and Jerks

I like clean and jerks. But my feet don't! For some reason, I get pain in the bottom of my foot after I do a bunch of them. It's not a severe pain, but it still means I'm doing something wrong.

Am I coming down on my toes or balls of my feet?

Thanks!
(ps This happened most recently doing them 1-armed, but it also occurs with the usual)

Re: Feet pain on Clean and Jerks

Do you do another sport or activity that requires significant foot movement? Could be something like plantar fasciitis if that's the case.

Otherwise, you want to land on your feet like you would from a vertical leap -- on the balls of your feet absorbing through your calves and then posterior chain.
