It may be effective, I just don't believe that he has a "full time staff of dedicated researchers".

It's just him and a computer, sitting around waiting for a lawsuit from the NSCA.

I think if your goal is to just pass the test, that book may help you achieve that. You won't learn the material, you'll learn the test.

If you have Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning and the form video, you have everything you need to pass the test. If you must have practice, get the NSCA materials.
