New Legend GHD

I was wondering if anyone had experience with the new Legend GHD being offered by Rogue and The Garage Gym Store. It looks pretty good. Has anybody been on one, and can offer some insight as to durability and construction or any other observations. Thanks. Here's a link.

The Legend GHD is top quality! I've used mine and its been awesome. It appears that the Garage Gym Store is cheaper then Rogue.

The Garage Gym GHD made by Legend comes dis-assembled, this will save you a bundle on shippping cost. This is important because the other GHD's made by legend come assembled. Good Luck!

You should begin supporting your claims with data, this way others are not misled.

Here is the skinny on the GHD:

1) GHD - Ships in one box hence it does not make the parcel people happy and costs almost the same as freight

2) Built by Legend and they sell it to all of their dealers to include the squat stands mentioned in another thread

3) We have almost 100 of them on our warehouse floor and have been beating on one in our gym for a couple weeks

4) My cart price with shipping in the G2 store was $557 vs Rogue $545 - It helps to include shipping when comparing prices

5) Since we have them in our warehouse we can put them on the same pallet as your bumpers and bars and save a ton on shipping

6) The GHD's we have in stock are all Black Frame with Gun Metal - We prefer these colors but if you don't we offer many color variants

7) The assembled vs not assembled comes down to price at this point as the shipping prices are almost the same at this point. It is based on shipping class and location

Thanks for the replies. I was more interested in knowing if you saw much difference in how sturdy the unit is since it is bolted together rather than one solid piece at the bottom.

I have used the new Legend the past 3 nights. It is just as sturdy as the solid piece GHD. I have tried every movement possible, just to test out the stability. It was quick and easy to assemble and we have had no problems with it.

I have not tried the legend, but i have tried the sorinex ghd, which looks to have the same LARGE, half moon pad.

I did not like this pad as it does not allow you to bend to a full 90 degrees while doing hip extensions, without the pad's point of contact being half way to my knee. as apposed to a small pad, like the promaxima, york, yukon, ect, where i can place the contact point of the pad closer to my hip, keep my neutral spine, and rotate my hips to a 90 without hitting my stomach on the pad, and most importantly, not feel like im hyper-extending my knee.

When you do the actual GHR movement on one of those benches with the smaller pad, you will be very disappointed.

If you never plan to do the GHR movement and are just concerned with doing sit ups and back raises on the thing, same some $$$ and get a roman chair.
