Re: Cool Down??

I usually end my workout with:

2-3 sets of serious thoughts about vomiting.
5 minutes of laying down on the ground, trying to keep the sweat from pooling in my eyes.
Then Watermelon crawl back to my apartment, drink some water, and nap in the bathtub.

Re: Cool Down??

Ill usually do some static stuff like hanging tuck, tuck sit, l-sit, ring plank, etc... Normally 30 sec. each with a few seconds to switch positions.

Re: Cool Down??

Most days I just go to the pull up bar and hang in order to stretch most of my body out.

Then right into the sauna for 2 sessions of 15 minutes each. In there I do some stretching and praying to make it through the next WOD.

Re: Cool Down??

I usually use the elliptical followed by some cable flies and the pec deck machine to "really hit my pecs." I really wish I had a Bowflex.

Re: Cool Down??

I love the eliptical.

I used to conduct my warm ups on them but found I was taking away from the WOD. Maybe I should use that after the WOD.

Priceless! Today was actually the closest I've been to greeting Pukie face-to-face. I wanted to make my 3rd 400M inside the 20 minute window, so I nearly sprinted it... I knew I was gonna be short (way short, missed it by :43) but I pushed it anyway. I actually had enough energy after I got back to the gym door to stagger in and make it to an empty bench rack before I went flat on my back for a few minutes til I stopped seeing spots.
