Re-Usable stuff

Ola,

Just interested to see what uses people know of for things that are waste to some but materials to others i.e. sawdust, sand ballast etc et c

anyone know of a secondary use for wood dust?

weird but curious

wood dust/sawdust is good for soaking up spills...it's damn absorbent. pour it on, vacuum off with a shop vac. doesn't really work on upholstery, though.

well- i have no idea where espom surrey is, but we like to put sawdust in/on our local motocross track. when you mix it in the soil it helps hold moisture and keeps the dust down.

as it happens I may just have come across a huge supply of sawdust and sand strangely.

Now I just need ideas on what they can be used for on a big scale!


Oh and huge huge amounts of salt too

in the hundreds of kilos+ range regularly

Money making ideas this way please folks!

I promise to open the most whup *** CF facility if I make a killing on this
